Shiloh Jolie-Pitt takes the plunge with her latest fashion statement – a pair of boy’s swimming trunks.
The head strong four-year-old made a big splash by ditching a feminine swimsuit for baggy swim shorts, while playing by the pool during a family weekend in Berkeley, California.
But the exclusive shots of the tomboy on UsMagazine.com aren’t phasing her super-sexy mom.
“It’s not my choice. I have a very strong-willed four-year-old girl, who tells me what she wants to wear and I let her be who she is,” said Angelina Jolie.
“I think people think kids should be a certain way, but I feel they should wear what they feel like wearing and they should express themselves.
“Shiloh cried one night and said, ‘Please cut my hair off. I don’t want to have long hair.’ I’m not going to leave it long because somebody thinks I should.”
Jolie has addressed her daughter’s sense of style before, branding it ‘fascinating’.

My jaws dropped when I found out this was Shiloh! Okay, my daughter has always been a tomboy since she was wee little, but when she was 4 like Shiloh, I always had a swimtop on her when swimming. She is a girl even though she dresses like a boy! Please put a shirt on this little girl!! How could they let her jump in the pool without a swimtop on? I am absolutely floored!

Based on some of the comments I’ve seen re Shiloh’s dress sense, I should cry “Oh the humanity”. Who wants to engage douchewads hell bent on mocking preschoolers? I don’t see the sport in it.
I don’t care about her choice of clothes, however, I think that here is where a line should be drawn. She could either use a girl’s swiming suit under the boy’s swim shorts, or a top. Another thing the parents could ask is whether she feels like a boy in the wrong body or if she just likes that type of clothing, before she reaches puberty.
I think kids should wear whatever they want too, but if this was some Ohio kid at a Motel 6 and their mom put this picture on facebook we all know the school would call CPS.
