That hostility on- and off-screen between writers of Fox’s The Simpsons and Family Guy? It’s not real, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane told Comic-Con fans Sunday.
MacFarlane, appearing at a panel for one of his other shows, American Dad, said: “It was invented by the press. … Any jabs taken are a joke.”
The American Dad cast and producers treated fans to a grisly Christmas episode in which Santa and the Smith family engage in a bloody skirmish.
In the upcoming season, Jeff and Hayley will get married, executive producer Matt Weitzman said. “It will add a whole new dynamic.”
Upcoming guest voices include: Lucy Lawless, Sarah Chalke, Anthony Michael Hall, Burt Reynolds, John Cho, Shannon Sharpe, Lou Diamond Phillips, Carl Reiner, Ed Asner, Grace Park, Hayden Panettiere, J.B. Smoove, Bob Odenkirk and Will Forte.
