Christina Applegate has confirmed that she and her fiancé, musician Martyn Lenoble, are expecting their first child.

The couple became engaged last Valentine’s Day and when asked about their plans for the future, Applegate told Us Magazine, “Babies, lots of babies. Not lots of babies, but a couple.”

It seems the 38-year-old actress was true to her word, as she recently took to Twitter to reveal her extreme craving for avacados. Shortly after the post she added, “Thank you all for your sweet words. Now you understand my avocado situation! Xoxo.”

The couple have been together for two years, and according to Applegate, her soon-to-be hubby provided much needed support during her battle with breast cancer in 2008.

“I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life. Without him, I don’t know if I could’ve gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he’s been a really incredible help,” Applegate previously told Us.
