Speidi’s web is getting more tangled.

The made-in-Hollywood marriage between reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt crumbled because Pratt was isolating the plastic-surgery obsessed Montag from her friends and family, the gossip site TMZ.com reported.

Montag promptly moved in to a Malibu beach home with one of her best friends, Jennifer Bunney – just in time for a new reality TV project featuring the women  scheduled to start filming in July.

“Heidi has spent so much time with Spencer and now she wants to be able to spend more time with herself and friendships,” Bunney told TMZ.com.

The 19-month-long marriage between Montag, 23, and Pratt, 26, has been a match made in heaven – for the gossip tabloids – ever since the pair’s courtship was chronicled on MTV’s hit reality series, “The Hills.”

Pratt ran afoul of of Montag most recently by calling the police on her mother during an uninvited visit.

“I think the American public would agree they’re better off apart,” a family friend of the Pratts told FoxNews. “Heidi is off in her own crazy little world and Spencer is certifiably insane.”
