After last night’s Dancing With The Stars show, Maks Chmerkovskiy told Us Weekly that judge Len Goodman’s criticism of his samba with Erin Andrews was way off base, and suggested he’s “too old” to be on the show.
“He said we didn’t have enough substance in samba. Are you out of your mind? I could give you a list right now, probably would take about three pages, of all the steps we did in samba. … Don’t tell me what I didn’t do right because you’re wrong! And if that means you’re too old to be on this show and judge, then that’s what it means.”
Meanwhile, during our Dancing With The Stars chat last night, the “romance” between Erin and Maks came up. Both laughed and told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show yesterday they are single, but they’re so coy when it comes up, Seacrest pushed more. “Why are you unclear about it?” asked Seacrest. “Why don’t you just say, ‘Yes, we’re together,’ or ‘No, we’re not.’”
“Because there’s a lot of things I’m unclear about,” answered Andrews.
“We’re not sure,” added Chmerkovskiy. “Everybody says, ‘You guys have amazing chemistry.’ We are not chemistry. We are just like a chemical reaction — you never know if it’s going to blow up in your face or it’s going to be all beautiful and stuff. Every second is different.”
Still unsatisfied, Seacrest tried again, saying: “Have you ever woken up at Erin’s house Maksim?” asked Seacrest. Andrews laughed. “No,” said Maks.
Elsewhere, Julianne Hough says Nicole Scherzinger and her brother Derek also have great chemistry and “love each other,” but it’s not romantic.
