Listen up, John Mayer. Turns out ex-girlfriends do not like being talked about as “sexual napalm,” particularly when you you’re talking to the whole world. At least, that’s what Mayer’s ex, Jessica Simpson, told Oprah Winfrey, in an episode set to air today.
According to the Huffington Post, Simpson, 29, told Winfrey that in regards to Mayer’s crass remarks in Playboy, “There’s nothing worse than being disappointed in somebody,” adding, “I’m not angry. I’m … well, I’m a little bit angry.” When Oprah asked what in particular upset the singer/actress, she responded, “I don’t want people to know how I am in bed. I mean, I guess I could have been a lot worse.”
Simpson — who was on the talk show to promote her new VH1 reality series about body image called The Price of Beauty – also opened up about the criticism she received after the infamous “mom jeans” photo of her surfaced. “I love my curves,” she said. “I’m not going to ever be size 0, and I don’t want to weigh 90 pounds.”
But what about when she slipped on those Daisy Dukes movie for the 2005 movie The Dukes of Hazzard? People reports that Simpson told Winfrey, “I didn’t weigh 90 pounds. But I was…I was definitely smaller. But that was Daisy Duke, that’s a role. I was playing a role. I don’t want to look like Daisy Duke every day. I don’t want to wear a bathing suit every day.”
As for Simpson’s love life, we’re still scratching our heads over that rumored beau, rocker Billy Corgan. Looking forward to what she has to say about him, if anything! The Oprah Winfrey Show airs on ABC (check local listings for time).
