She may be wearing a sparkling new ring, but that apparently doesn’t mean she’s heading down the aisle.
Miley Cyrus is “not engaged,” a rep for the singer/actress tells People.com.
Reports such as the one at PopEater.com, which focused on a ring around the all-important finger on her left hand, suggested that her 19-year-old beau, Liam Hemsworth, may have popped the question.
More speculation about the possible nuptials occurred when Cyrus met the Australian-born Hemsworth’s family during a trip Down Under.
The pair met last year while filming the 17-year-old star’s most recent film, “The Last Song,” set to be released in April.
