(RTTNews) - Gary Coleman was arrested Sunday in his hometown of Santaquin, Utah, on domestic assault charges. Though the details of the incident are still sparse, police records indicate that Coleman was jailed, with bail set at $1,725.
The arrest is the most recent in a string of legal troubles for Coleman, who was reportedly arrested in 2007 for disorderly conduct, and again in 2008 for hitting a man with his pickup truck outside of a Utah bowling alley.
In other news, Coleman was hospitalized earlier this month after suffering a seizure in Los Angeles. The actor, who has had two failed kidney transplants, was reportedly preparing to meet with the producers of his latest film – Midgets vs. Mascots – on January 6, when he was rushed to the hospital.
The film, billed as a Borat-meets-Jackass shockumentary, premiered last April and was released on DVD in November.
