During an appearance on ‘Larry King Live,’ Mariah Carey was asked by the 75-year-old talk show host about Rihanna, — whose ex-boyfriend Chris Brown pleaded guilty to attacking her — and King then pressed the singer if she had ever been abused.

Mariah Carey’s music used to be omnipresent on the radio, but her music just isn’t stickin’ with this generation. Her singles “I Wanna Know What Love Is” and “H.A.T.E.U.” maybe some of her most artistically gifted singles, but they weren’t accepted by the general public. IWKWLI found its peak in the Top 80 while “H.A.T.E.U.” hasn’t even been picked up on the radio (it’s been out for almost a month now, believe me it’s not going anywhere).
