Unlike some Jackson family members who may have sold out to A&E for a new reality series, “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty,” that will likely have more to do with Michael Jackson than any of his living relatives, the King of Pop is selling out himself these days, months after his death.
But Michael Jackson is “selling out” the best way an artist can – in ticket sales.
According to Fandango, Michael Jackson’s “This is It” has sold out more than 1,000 showings.
The forthcoming documentary already ranks No. 23 on MovieTickets.com’s ranking of the “Top-25 Advance Ticket Sellers of All-Time.”
Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” will begin a national two week run in theaters everywhere beginning October 28th.
