Pass out the blue cigars – Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel welcomed their first child on Wednesday, People.com reports.
The couple, who announced their pregnancy in March, welcomed son Walker Diggs. “Mother, father and son are all doing well,” reps said in a statement.
Though the “Private Practice” actor had a few names in mind, he said they were waiting to see the baby first before making a final decision.
“We have a couple [of names] in the running,” the actor explained. “But part of us wants to see what he hits us with when we see him. We’ll see what he looks like.”
Diggs met the Tony award-winning actress, both 38, in the original 1996 Broadway production of “Rent.” They wed in January 2003.
