It has only been two short months since British actor and “The Talented Mr. Ripley” star admitted the he was expecting a child with 24-year-old Samantha Burke. Now, Burke has welcomed 5 pound 12 ounce baby Sophia to this world.
“Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia. Sophia arrived on September 22nd and weighs in at 5lbs, 12oz. The baby and mom are doing wonderful,” Burke’s rep tells OK!.
The two met while Law was filming Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” in New York.
Law is said to not take part in the child’s life. He does intend to help her out financially however.
Jude Law, 36, has three other children with ex-wife Sadie Frost. He is currently leading in a Broadway production of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.”
