Rehabbed actress Lindsay Lohan used to never refuse a drink.
So some may find it surprising that the actress turned down a role in this summer’s blockbuster hit, “The Hangover,” Usmagazine.com reports.
The movie’s crazy Vegas adventure storyline is a subject all too familiar for the troubled starlet, but sources tell Us that Lohan opted out of the Todd Phillips film because the script “had no potential.”
The “Mean Girls” star, 23, reportedly turned down the role of stripper Jade (which eventually went to Heather Graham) after her agent campaigned to the director on her behalf.
“The agent tried hard to get Phillips to consider her,” the source said, “and when he finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn’t like the script!”
Seeing how the movie has made $205 million thus far, taking the plum role would have benefited Lohan as she is currently being suid by scientist Jennifer Sunday for stealing the recipe for her Sevin Nyne tanning spray.
However the actress has since denied any wrong doing.
“No formula was stolen for Sevin Nyne!” Lohan wrote on Twitter. “It’s a woman looking for a payday. That’s it!”
