Pop singing sensation, Susan Boyle, is in need of at least extended rest if not, psychiatric assistance.

Once again, concerns over Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle’s health arose this week after she needed to skip a fourth concert on the “Britain’s Got Talent” tour. The official word, once again, was that she needed rest, but other reports claimed she was dropped from Thursday night’s show in Cardiff, England, either just before or after uncorking a screaming fit about her cat Pebbles.

Boyle, who became an overnight star after charming skeptical judges on “Britian’s Got Talent,” has now missed nearly half the shows of a concert tour featuring the reality TV show’s finalists. She was hospitalized for exhaustion after the show’s finale, in which she placed second.

Boyle’s spokesman said Friday the 48-year-old skipped the show to rest and added the singer said “sorry to all her fans.”
