An alleged theft of $400,000 worth of jewelry from Lindsay Lohan‘s Elle magazine photo shoot earlier this month is under investigation by the London police, Elle reports.
A set of diamond earrings and a necklace was reported missing from a studio in north London on June 8, two days after the photo shoot.
No arrests have been made, according to a police spokesman. He would not comment on the identity of the people the police are planning to interview.
“Lindsay hopes they find the jewels. She is happy to cooperate,” a Lohan representative told People.com.
A spokeswoman for Elle said in a statement released Tuesday that the magazine has “no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way responsible.”
