Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and longtime beau Peter Sarsgaard made it official over the weekend. The pair have a 2 year old daughter named Ramona. They got married in Italy on Saturday, in a small chapel in Brindisi. The bride’s brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, and his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon, were among the attendees.
Maggie Gyllenhaal has long been known for her roles in independent films, but her career took a large turn when she starred as Rachel Dawes in The Dark Knight with Christian Bale. She took over the role from Katie Holmes. Sarsgaard has an acclaimed body of work as well, having starred in Jarhead (with Jake Gyllenhaal), and Shattered Glass. Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard recently performed together in Uncle Vanyaon Broadway
