Kanye West has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a scuffle with a photographer at an airport in Los Angeles last year.
The 31-year-old was not in court when his lawyer entered the plea over assault, theft and vandalism charges.
The hip-hop star was arrested at the LA International airport on 11 September after apparently breaking a photographer’s camera flash.
The next scheduled hearing will be on 15 July.
A video shot by the gossip website TMZ appeared to show Mr West smashing the camera while inside the airport terminal.
Road manager Dan Crawley was also charged on two counts of assault, two counts of theft and two counts of vandalism.
The star, who is due to headline the Wireless festival on 5 July, could face two and a half years in jail if convicted while Mr Crawley could face up to five years in prison.
Lawyer Blair Berk declined to comment on the plea.
