Did Miss California’s Answer Cost Her the Crown?
Miss California USA Carrie Prejean, of San Diego, did not capture the Miss USA crown on Sunday night and some are wondering whether her answer to a question from pageant judge and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton might have cost her the title. Here is a transcript of the exchange:
Across the Universe rip Perez Hilton: “Vermont recently became the 4th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?”
Prejean: “Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”

I hail Miss California for her response to the jerk posing as a judge. Regardless what your religious view on same sex marriage it is still clearly a perverted sexual preference which does not even mesh with the laws of nature let alone the laws on man or christian beliefs and teaching. I guess what we are suppose to accept and believe is that same sex marriage is okay because simply this jerk and others like him want it that way. It will not happen in my mind. I salute you Miss California, you are without a doubt a person of honor and integrity.
