Kelly Osborne has been in rehab for the last three weeks and her mom Sharon didn’t reveal what she was in for. However, Kelly is now talking about her addiction and it’s been going on for years.
Apparently, Kelly is addicted to painkillers, which she has started taking since she was a teenager. She revealed, “I had my tonsils taken out [at age 13], and they gave me liquid Vicodin. I found, when I take this, people like me. I’m having fun, I’m not getting picked on. It became a confidence thing.”
The 24-year-old one-time singer and reality show “The Osbournes” star said that although she has been placed into rehab twice, she hasn’t been really clean until now. Osbourne said she’s used to taking downers to sleep through the day, but she admitted, “I knew if I didn’t get help, I would die. I’m getting a second chance [at my career],” she said, “and I want to be present for it.”
Kelly Osbourne will be seen on the Fox special “Osbornes Reloaded,” on March 31. The Osbournes was featured on MTV’s “The Osbornes” series, which ended in 2005.
