Watch out guys, a new star is in town! Freida Pinto, the actress who starred in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, might become the latest face of cosmetics brand Estee Lauder. The 24-year-old Mumbai-born actress/former model will join Estee Lauder spokesmodels Elizabeth Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow in a deal reported to be worth $400,000, being also the brand’s first Indian spokesmodel. It seems Frieda Pinto has made quite an impression to Hollywood director Woody Allen who reportedly cast her and she will reportedly join Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins, and Josh Brolin in an upcoming untitled project.

Freida is hot property right now because Slumdog has been a history maker of sorts. There shouldn’t be any surprise if firms are lining up to sign her as their brand ambassador.
