Hollywood’s Most Loved Couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie received Best Actor and Best Actress nominations for their performances in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ and ‘Changeling,’ at the 2009 Oscar nominations ceremony in Hollywood early Thursday. Despite their bad lock at the Golden Globes, Brad and Angelina, who are currently promoting Brad’s latest movie in Europa, might leave next month’s 81st Annual Academy Awards with matching Oscar. The 81st Annual Oscars will air on ABC February 22.

Nominations for The 81st Academy Awards were announced at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Hollywood.

The nominees for the year’s best in film are:

Best Film: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk, Slumdog Millionaire, The Reader

Best Actor: Richard Jenkins, Frank Langella, Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Mickey Rourke

Best Actress: Anne Hathaway, Melissa Leo, Kate Winslet (The Reader), Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie

Best Supporting Actor: Robert Downey Jr., Philip Seymour Hoffman, Heath Ledger, Michael Shannon, Josh Brolin

Best Supporting Actress: Amy Adams, Penelope Cruz, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Marisa Tomei

Best Director: Danny Boyle, Ron Howard, Gus Van Sant, David Fincher, Stephen Daldry

Best Animated Feature: Bolt, Kung Fu Panda, Wall-E
