This year battle of Christmas Day movie releases, was between Jennifer Aniston’s dog-based drama “Marley & Me†and Brad Pitt’s age-defying film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.†Jennifer Aniston’s film was the top grossing release of the day at the box office on Thursday (December 25), with $14.6 million in ticket sales, while Brad Pitt’s fantasy flick came in second at $11.8 million. Ok, so maybe Jennifer Aniston recent GQ cover did that influenced people to go for “Marley & Me†on Christmas day and they just want to see a drama instead of, lets say, an age-defying movie; I am sure both movies are quite good, after all both films exceeded box office expectations by 40-50 percent, Variety reports.
