
Nicole Kidman always has time for her UNIFEM Goodwill Ambassador duties. The actress was seen at the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday (November 25) announcing that over five million people have signed on an Internet-based petition for the “Say No to Violence against Women” campaign. Nicole Kidman, who kicked off the UN-sponsored “Say No to Violence against Women” campaign in April, this year, by using her celebrity status to give a strong and clear message of ending violence against women. The Award winning actress is currently promoting her new movie titled Australia which will very soon hit theaters.
We thought that the more names we collected, the stronger our case to make ending violence against women a top priority for governments everywhere.
