According to recent reports, former Spice Girl Halliwell was named the U.K.’s 2008 best-selling children’s author and obviously the most successful celebrity author. The Pop singer has published a series of kid’s books starring a fictional heroine Ugenia Lavender, who is 9 years-old. It all started back in 2004 when Geri Halliwell began writing children books in 2004. Then in April of 2007 she signed a six book deal with Macmillan Children’s Books. The first book, famously known now as Ugenia Lavender, was published in the U.K in May of 2008. Books 2, 3, 4 and 5 have followed respectively in June, July, August, September and October.
