The Canadian pop punk star Avril Lavigne was awarded the Certificate of Honor from the China Association of Social Workers in Beijing on Monday. The 24-year-old singer used her Celebrity status to raise funds for poor families and children with disabilities in China during her Best Damn Tour. With millions of albums sold Avril Lavigne made some time to even offer gifts to children from China’s earthquake-ravaged Sichuan province. Meanwhile Avril made her last stop from her world tour, performing at Beijing’s Wukesong Indoor Stadium yesterday!
