Nicole Kidman has topped Hollywood’s most overpaid star by U.S. magazine Forbes list, replacing her fellow Australian actor Russell Crowe at the top of the list. Believe it of not Nicole Kidman’s films are estimated to earn only $1 for every dollar the actress is paid, compared with $8 last year.
The film “The Invasion” in which Nicole Kidman stared, lost $2.68 for every dollar earned by the actress, who was paid a reported $17 million to star alongside Daniel Craig.
In second place is Jennifer Garner, whose recent movies The Kingdom and Catch and Release have both underperformed at the box office. Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is on third place, being followed by Cameron Diaz, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Drew Barrymore, Will Ferrell and Cate Blanchett.
