Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has finally confirmed she is pregnant with Thomas Starr’s baby. She joyfully announced the happy news on her website, also explaining why they waited this long to respond to rumors and thanking everybody for their kindness and support.

Besides taking some well deserved time off to take care of the baby, Mel C is planning way ahead. The 34-year-old singer is already thinking about preparing her fifth solo album.
Mel C is the last of the Spice Girls to bring a baby into the world. Victoria Beckham is at the top with three beautiful boys, whereas Melanie Brown has two children and Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton have one of their own.
