
According to recent news, Ultimo spokesmodel Melanie Brown will unveil the lingerie line’s new collection during New York Fashion Week-Spring/Summer 2009 next month. The 32-year-old former Spice Girl Mel B aka Scary Spice, is the new face of UK lingerie manufacturer Ultimo after the singer has signed a $500,000 deal to be the image of the next Ultimo bra ad campaign. Other models who had been the face of the Ultimo ad campaign include Sarah Harding and Penny Lancaster. Mel B is actually replacing Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.
I am thrilled to be representing Ultimo at New York Fashion Week. I’m so passionate about Ultimo’s designs and I can’t wait for the crowd’s reaction to what Michelle and the team will be sending down the runway.
