Last week, Janet Jackson outdid herself by proving she is not only a singer, songwriter, actress, dancer and record producer, but also a designer, as she announces a partnership with Bruno Schiavi, a fashion designer from Australia. 

The lingerie collection’s name was inspired by Jackson’s 1987 hit “Pleasure Principle”, which was said to be an independent’s woman anthem about love. The launch took place just before starting her world tour to promote her new album, “Discipline”.  

Products of the line are programmed to be in stores in November this year. They will first be available in America, but Australia, Japan and Europe will soon follow.

There will be 14 designs available, from balconettes and demi cups to full coverage, as proof of Janet Jackson’s various talents.
