According to recent reports, Jewel has been named the spokesmodel for Mary Kay Cosmetics’ A Kiss for Country campaign to end domestic violence. She will be featured in an upcoming Mary Kay charity ad campaign, with each snapshot will be “autographed and sealed with a kiss” from Jewel.
It’s a topic that’s close to my heart. I was homeless for a year and saw first hand how sometimes the streets can be safer than what’s at home.
