The fresh mother of twins Jennifer Lopez made some time and looked fabulous for the reception held at the Denver Art Museum on Wednesday (August 27) to honor Marian Wright Edelman, founder of the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF). Jennifer Lopez went for a red ensemble with heels shining on the red carpet alongside fellow stars including Fran Drescher, Xavier Becerra and Bill Richardson, among others.
The reception was sponsored by The Jennifer Lopez Foundation, and for this event the 39-year-old singer/actress teamed up with Viacom, CauseCast and Capitol File magazine.
Children’s Defense Fund is “a research and advocacy group that tries to ensure every child a healthy start, a head start, a fair start, a safe start, and a moral start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities.”

Sorry, but this is just another calculated move for Jennifer Lopez to get media attention for herself, and this isn’t the 1st time she’s used charity work as an excuse.
I know what are you saying but, I think she changed a lot since she got pregnant. Or maybe it is just my impression. If you think about it, as a famous actress you must maintain the minimum attention towards your activities.. you have to stay in the public eye in one way or another..

I can never understand why when a celebrity donates their time and money for charity they are still criticized and condemned on blogs like this one. I think she’s great for helping out!
