Pop and R&B star Fergie and Black Eyed Peas are working on a new and yet untitled album. They’re in the studio working on tracks for the project, which will be their first album since 2005’s “Monkey Business.”

Fergie says the music will have “a new sound” -  and that the group isn’t trying “to copy what’s out there on the radio.” The singer describes their work as “being artistic and pushing the envelope.” In other Celebrity related news, Fergie was in Las Vegas to launch two lines of shoes at the World Shoe Association and in fall she is busy working on a movie musical role.
