
According to recent reports, the pop singer Rihanna has been named the spokesmodel for Gucci’s first UNICEF ad campaign. The Celebrity singer, who was in Africa recently, will appear in the fashion house’s Tattoo Heart campaign, which is set to premiere in December. Reports says Rihanna will be photographed for a special edition print ads with UNICEF items and twenty-five percent of sales will benefit the children’s charity. It seems the brand has chosen Rihanna after she performed at Gucci’s UNICEF fund-raiser in NY last February.
When we decided to dedicate a full ad campaign, more than just creating products, to really come out and show our commitment to UNICEF, I felt a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign.
