According to recent reports, director Rob Marshall cast Fergie to play a prostitute in the movie musical Nine, alongside stars like Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Dame Judi Dench. The 33-year-old singer Fergie, who also appeared in Poseidon and last year’s Grindhouse, will sing a duet, “Be Italian,” with Day-Lewis in the movie musical Nine, which begins filming in October.
