According to recent reports, Amy Winehouse was hospitalized Monday night for a reaction to medication. The Grammy-winning singer Amy Winehouse was taken by ambulance from her north London home to University College Hospital at around 8:46 p.m.. Amy Winehouse’s rep, Chris Goodman, told press, “Amy is fine and she is on her way home. She was taking a new [medication] as part of her anti-drug treatment program. And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one. She has a few gigs to perform. After [playing a few summer] festivals, she is going to continue writing her new album. It will be rest and writing.”
