Ne-Yo Sentenced to Community Service

The Grammy winner and songwriter Ne-Yo is not going to jail! According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Ne-Yo was sentenced to 24 hours community service by a Georgia judge on Monday after he pleaded guilty to driving without a license and pleaded no contest to the reckless driving charge. The R&B star was arrested in February for driving 105 mph – 50 miles above the speed limit.

Ne-Yo, who was fined $1000, will also have to perform for the Boys and Girls Club and attend a defensive driving class.  In other Celebrity related news, Ne-Yo’s album, The Year of the Gentleman, will be released in August.
