According to recent reports, Rihanna made Billboard history on Thursday as her new single “Take a Bow” went over fifty-two places to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It’s the second-biggest jump to the top in the chart’s fifty year history. “Take a Bow” is the lead single from the re-release of Rihanna’s platinum-selling album, Good Girl Gone Bad, due June 17.
Maroon 5 still holds the record for biggest Billboard jump in history with the 2007 track “Makes Me Wonder” which made a sixty-four to one jump in just one week. Actually, Maroon 5 and Rihanna recorded together recently “If I Never See Your Face Again.”
