The Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker smiled and waved was she was spotted by photographers arriving at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France on the first day of the Cannes Film Festival, May 14. Eva Longoria made the trip without her  husband Tony Parker, who’s currently stuck in a tough NBA playoff series.

Eva Longoria Parker joined Indian actress Aishwarya Rai and French actress Rachida Brakni at the opening night ceremony and premiere of the film Blindness during the 2008 Cannes Film Festivalin Cannes, France, on Wednesday.
The film is based on a book by Nobel winner Jose Saramago of Portugal and center matters on human nature and the fragility of society.
