New Line Cinema has released two new promotional posters of Sex and the City: The Movie, starring only Sarah Jessica Parker - and also revealed that the will premiere first in London’s Leicester Square on May 12 – two weeks before its much-anticipated debut in New York.
London will be much smaller. The whole cast isn’t even going. It was simply a question of logistics and scheduling. We’re still planning the big premiere to be in New York.

Sex and The City: The Movie cast Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis all attend the London premiere, but Mr. Big himself, Chris Noth, and Jennifer Hudson, will apparently not.
New Line spokesman revealed exclusively to the Daily News that the New York premiere will be May 27 at Radio City Music Hall, followed by a true party at the Museum of Modern Art that will benefit Caroline Kennedy’s The Fund for Public Schools.
