Scarlett Johansson’s cover art for her debut album, “Anywhere I Lay My Head” was revealed recently. Scarlett can soon be heard debuting her vocal talents on her new album, after it will be released on May 20th. The cover art looks kind of nice, it has a lot in common with the promotional shot. Scarlett, who was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role opposite Bill Murray in the film Lost In Translation, unveiled the tracklisting during a press conference at Joe’s Pub in New York City recently.
The actress/singer’s CD is a collection of Tom Waits cover songs plus one original composition. Does anybody under 40 know who Tom Waits is? Anyway, Johansson was joined in the studio by David Bowie, while the album was produced by David Sitek.
