Lindsay Lohan reportedly signed a deal to be the spokesmodel for the credit card giant Visa Swap, an ethical-clothing campaign, which will take place in London’s Covent Garden. The campaign will see the actress/singer pose in a selection of vintage pieces to publicize the store, Visa Swap Shop. Lindsay recently ended the promotional campaign for the project, which means that a collection of photos of the actress decked out in vintage clothing will be released in June.
Customers can donate clothing they no longer wear to the shop in three weeks beginning June 21, and then have the value of their clothing, in points which are put onto a Visa card. The customers can then exchange the value of the points on their cards, on 19 July, for others’ second-hand items.
Anyway, the cloths that no one will buy will be donated to TRAID, “a British organization that raises money to support communities in developing countries by recycling clothing through its network of stores.”
