Despite not announcing their wedding ceremony, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z filed a signed wedding license last Friday on April 18th, according to a New York official. The marriage of singer Beyonce Knowles and hip-hop star Jay-Z is finally official as the license was filed with a wedding date of April 4!

The couple held a lavish private celebration in Manhattan earlier this month, but had refused to confirm they were celebrating their big wedding day. Beyonce Knowles, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, whose real name is Shawn Carter, have been romantically involved since September 2002, and they haven’t been opened about their romance with the press.

The wedding ceremony, which took place at Jay-Z’s apartment on April 4, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Destiny’s Child stars Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, as guests, and white flowers and silver candelabras were delivered to the building in New York’s Tribeca district, to everyone delight.
