With a guitar and a few scraps of duct tape Amy Winehouse posed in a bid to raise awareness about breast cancer among young women in the April issue of Britain’s Easy Living. The jazz singer stripped down for photographer Carolyn Djangoly as actress Helena Bonham Carter and ‘Smooth Operator’ singer Sade are also featured in the campaign. It’s nice that they are doing it for a good cause but they could also raise awareness about drugs, for example.

Yes, breast cancer is very important. I have a friend who is in remission now, that i helped years ago. What about help for prostate cancer?
We’re in the process of losing our home. as my spouse was to purchase my home in order to save it from foreclosure. However, since his surgery, to remove his prostate due to cancer, he is unable to come up with the down payment, which he had, but was mislead from a previous lender stating it was more important to utilize the $14,000 to satisfy car loan, which he did. Now, we are finding out from other lenders, that the “rent with option to buy” is only good, if you have cancelled checks showing that he has helped pay some of my mortgage payments over the past 7 years (while he was living in my home). We do not have this papaer trail. How many spouses do? After being misinformed by previous lender, much time eas wasted, and judge has adjourned this matter for over 8 months and can no longer give any more time on this matter, despite the fact that he is aware of the mishandling of the situation with my loss mitigation dept of the my previous mortgage company, causing this error to begin with. I am in desperate need of a temp purchaser of my home for at least 2 months, until my spouse can obtain a mortgage, otherwise i will lose house and equtiy on 06-22-09. I am not looking for a hand-out, even though i could use one! I will pay all espenses at closing and even include a $5,000. fee for anyone’s time, who will be able to assist on a temp basis. If, not, my children will no longr be able to stay in college and will not be able to utilize equity to purchase car to return to work, after being out, due to a spinal injury. I thoughtby children could stay with my former husband, if this did not go through, but i just found out he lost his home and insurance that was covering my children and I! It’s been one nightmare after another, which was out of my control. Please network this issue to others, with the hope that I may obtain some type of assistance over the weekend, as i must report to judge, on monday, 06-22-09 with a temp buyer or loan or i will lose everything!
