Actress/singer Lindsay Lohan teamed up with the Spring 2008 Fashion Issue of New York Magazine to recreate screen star Marilyn Monroe’s last photoshoot. The shoot, which was done by photographer Bert Stern (who also shot Monroe’s ‘The Last Sitting’ in 1962), Lohan stripped off and with her blonde Marilyn wig she covered New York magazine. I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor. They (Marilyn Monroe and Heath’s Ledger) are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.
