According to recent reports, Hollywood heavyweight Al Pacino has signed on to appear in the latest 007 venture, James Bond: Quantum of Solace. The screen legend is reportedly set to play the head of the international terrorist group first introduced in Casino Royale. The title, Quantum of Solace, is taken from one collection of short stories published by 007 creator Ian Fleming in 1960. Daniel Craig reprise his role as the iconic British agent and the film will also feature Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko who plays Bond girl Camille in the film. The movie opens November 7.

It’s not a major role but it’s an extremely important one. It will be a brief on-screen appearance….Everyone is really excited at the prospect of having such a huge star joining the cast. It will be fabulous to see him square up against Bond.
