The 2008 BAFTA Awards winner were announced and a unknown French actress was the big surprise winner of a award ceremony on Sunday night – February 10. Marion Cotillard beat out famous British actress like Julie Christie and Keira Knightley to take the best actress award for her performance as singer Edith Piaf in the film La Vie En Rose. Isn’t that something? I am sure the French girl has some real acting skills.
