While most celebrities opted for a trips in Caribbean, Madonna went for an Indian holiday with horseback riding. Madonna, Guy Ritchie and their children enjoyed a $200,000 vacation to the Rajasthani desert, arriving on New Year’s Eve on private jet. The bad or the good part was that Madonna interacted with the locals and they haven’t recognized her.

Madonna spent New Year’s Eve with her family at a wilderness camp in the desert.  (She) was comfortably dressed in Western clothes for the evening and enjoyed the dance performances along with her family.

Later all of them danced with folk artistes into the wee hours. In the morning a special horse show was organised at Khandi, a village near Rohetgarh. Madonna and her son enjoyed the horse ride and seemed very comfortable interacting with the local people. No one even realized she was an A-list celebrity.
