According to a recent poll, High School Musical actor and singer Zac Efron is the “most wanted” celebrity of 2007. Believe it or not, the 20-year-old actor beat “Thriller” star Michael Jackson topping spot in the “Contact Any Celebrity” poll in West Hollywood maintaining his place in America’s heart, and his celebrity status since his early High School Musical days.Zac Efron will be America’s most powerful celebrity according to the poll. It seems the young star is “attracting the most autographs and being worth the most in merchandise.”
Even with his less-than-stellar image, Michael Jackson is number 2 and would probably be number 1 if it weren’t for Zac Efron immense popularity this year with his roles in High School Musical, High School Musical 2 and Hairspray.
