R&B Celebrity Mary J. Blige has revealed she wants to do more acting and is looking for a dramatic role. The singer made her acting debut (1998) on The Jamie Foxx Show and also guest-starred on America’s Next Top Model, as a creative director for one of the photoshoots.

The 36-year-old R&B/Pop singer, whose new album is titled Growing Pains, has vowed never to make her own reality show because she would find it “crazy” and “weird” but on the other side she wants to do more TV work, with dramatic rather than comedic roles.

I want to keep doing it. I’ve got scripts, but it seems the scripts aren’t scripts for Mary J Blige’s acting career. When the right one falls in my lap I’m going to nail it.
