Madonna is now celebrating a victory over Malawian orphan David Banda custody case. The singer – who has been a foster mother to the two-year-old boy for more than a year -  is very happy over the Malawi government’s decision because it has been a long road, in October of 2006, Madonna began the process of adopting David and this past September, the diva was visited by Malawi adoption officials who decided that she is a fit mother. Madonna is said to be planning a lavish party in January to toast the good news.

Mrs. Ritchie presents a confident and able parent. There are clear indications that David is becoming a happy, secure toddler.  It is in the best interest of the child to remain in her care.
